The word SALUS PER AQUAM or SANITAS PER AQUAM, in Latin means health through water. Commonly referred to by its acronym, the term, of Anglo-Saxon origin, “SPA” (from which the current use), means a spa resort or in general a structure designed for well-being, relaxation and body care.
